BOLDEN. is a UK-based jazz house duo crafting a sound that lives between the dancefloor and the improvisational freedom of live jazz, where deep house grooves meet rich instrumentation and spontaneous musical interplay. Their ethos, Jazz that moves the room, is felt in every performance, with music built for movement and immersion.

Formed by multi-instrumentalists Reuben Barrett and Catherine Rannus, the project brings together instinctive, rhythm-driven production and refined musicality. Reuben’s self-taught versatility across guitar, bass, drums, and keys meets Catherine’s classical training across piano, vocals, flute, and saxophone, creating a dynamic, evolving sound that pushes beyond traditional genre lines.

On stage, BOLDEN. is fluid and high-impact, with constant instrument switching, real-time improvisation, and reworked arrangements that make every set unique. The duo had a fully sold-out debut North American tour in Autumn 2025.
