Shantay

Shantay is a non-player character who runs the Shantay Pass. He owns the Shantay Pass Shop, and sells Shantay passes. Shantay also provides some information about desert survival, as the effects of the desert heat starts taking its toll south of Shantay Pass, which can be useful for new players going into the desert.

Creating a kebab mix gives no cooking experience itself, but will give 40 experience when combined with pitta bread to make an Ugthanki kebab. To make the kebab mix, take the following steps :

Put a knife in your inventory

Use a bowl with an onion to make chopped onion

Use the chopped onion with a tomato to make onion & tomato (Use right click on either, or you will eat it instead)

Use the onion & tomato with some cooked ugthanki meat to make the kebab mix. (Use right click on either, or you will eat it instead)

NOTE: Using a bowl with a tomato first will make chopped tomato, which cannot be combined with an onion to make onion & tomato.
