We are the British Lung Foundation, leading the fight against lung disease. We’re the only UK charity looking after the nation’s lungs.

One in five people in the UK are affected by lung disease. Around 10,000 people are diagnosed with a lung disease every week. Millions more are at risk.

Lung disease can be frightening and debilitating. We offer hope and support at every step so that no one has to face it alone. We promote greater understanding of lung disease and we campaign for positive change in the nation's lung health.

We also fund vital research, so that new treatments and cures can help save lives. We've spent more than £33m funding research, and with your help we can fund even more.
