EFP European Federation of Periodontology

The EFP (European Federation of Periodontology, www.efp.org) is the global benchmark in gum health and gum disease, and one of the largest international dental organisations - it brings together 45 national scientific societies and 18,000+ periodontists and other gum-health professionals. Over the last 30 years, the EFP has established itself as the leading voice in periodontology and implantology:

- by promoting best practices, awareness, and education;

- by disseminating knowledge and promoting the exchange of best practices; and

- by helping improving periodontal science and practice across Europe and around the world.

The EFP is the driving force behind EuroPerio - the world's leading conference in perio - as well as Gum Health Day, Perio Workshop, Perio Master Clinic, and other global events. Besides, it publishes the Journal of Clinical Periodontology, JCP Digest, and Perio Insight, among other publications.

The EFP vision is summed up as "Periodontal health for a better life".
