Embrace The Brace with Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and my scoliosis journey began in 2019. When I went for an annual checkup my pediatrician told me I had scoliosis after he had me do the forward bend test. This journey has not been an easy one. I felt alone and sometimes scared. There are many online groups for parents, but not so much for the kids themselves.

I hope that these videos will help others with scoliosis with some practical tips and tricks as you learn what to expect when wearing a scoliosis brace. I am not here to provide medical advice, I am not a doctor…. just a teen with scoliosis 😊 I created this channel to help other kids and teens know that they are not alone. I wish to provide comfort in knowing there’s another teen with scoliosis out there for you!
