One of the most versatile flautists of India, with a wide spectrum of experience in Hindustani, Carnatic, Western and Film music. He worked with legends like Padmasree K J Yesudas, G Devarajan Master, V Dhakshinamoorthy, K Raghavan, M S Vishwanadan, M B Sreenivasan, M K Arjunanan etc. Apart from giving live concerts, he has directed over 300 songs and done orchestration for over 7000 songs. He has created a symphony "The Bamboo Flute".

Started stage shows at the age of 10, He has given several live concerts and fusion programs. He was part of many international stage shows of leading singers like Padmabushan Dr K J Yesudas, P jayachandran, Kamukara Purushothaman, K P Udayabhanu, C O Anto, P Leela, S Janaki, P Susheela etc. He has over 32 years of experience in teaching music.
